Pavers and stamped concrete
Paver sealing is our most common job in Parker. Most of the patios out here get sun all day, and the color fades and the joint sand washes out within a few years. We clean, re-sand with polymeric sand, and seal. It's usually two visits, because the pavers have to dry before we seal.
Stamped concrete gets cleaned at lower pressure so we don't wear the color layer, then resealed.

How often to reseal
Every 3 to 5 years on most paver patios. Stamped concrete with a glossy film sealer usually needs it every 2 to 3.
Parker questions
Will sealing stop weeds in my pavers?
It cuts them down a lot. Some seeds still blow in and root on top of the sand. Pull them while they're small.
Can you do the whole patio in one day?
Usually not. Cleaning is day one, and sand and sealer go down once it's dry, often the next morning.
Can you make my stamped concrete look new again?
A clean and reseal brings back most of the color. If the color layer itself is worn through, sealer won't replace it.
Can you clean the pavers without sealing them?
Yes, but if the joint sand is washed out we'd at least re-sand. Empty joints grow weeds and the pavers start to shift.
