How we remove it
We test a small spot first to see how the paint and the wall react. On most masonry we put on a remover gel, let it break the paint down, and rinse with hot water at moderate pressure. If a faint shadow is left, it gets a second treatment.
Metal doors and glass get solvents and hand tools that won't scratch. Painted walls are the hardest, because anything strong enough to take off the tag can take off the paint under it too. Those usually get a paint-out instead.
If it won't fully come out
Paint on rough, porous block can soak in deep. If the shadow won't come out, we can paint over it with a matched color, as long as you're OK with that.
Protective coatings
After cleaning we can put on an anti-graffiti coating. The next time someone tags the wall, it comes off with hot water, so the next visit is quicker and cheaper.
Getting us out there
Call or text us a photo. We try to get there within a day or two, sooner if it's offensive. Property managers can set up a standing agreement so we come out without a new quote each time.
Graffiti questions
Will removal damage my brick?
Not with a gel remover and moderate pressure. We test first, and we don't use a sandblaster.
Do you do this for homeowners too?
Yes. Fences, garage doors, and retaining walls are the usual spots.
Is there a minimum?
Yes, $175 a visit. Property managers on a standing agreement pay a set rate per visit.
Can you match my paint color?
We match off a paint chip from the wall or the paint code if you have it. Faded walls don't always match exactly, so we paint out to the nearest corner or joint so it doesn't look like a patch.
